Saturday March 5
11am – 3pm
Seeing Eye Dogs Australia (SEDA) will be holding a family-friendly public open day on Saturday, March 5 at their state-of-the-art facility in Kensington.
Visitors are invited to tour the facility, meet Seeing Eye Pups, watch dogs in training and get a first-hand look at how the organisation helps people who are blind or has low vision. There will also be loads of family entertainment and food available on site.
Entry is a gold coin donation per person and all funds raised will go towards helping turn these special little puppies into life changing Seeing Eye Dogs.
Each Seeing Eye Dog costs up to $50,000 to train and the organisation relies on the generosity of the community to continue to provide Seeing Eye Dogs to people who are blind or have low vision, right across Australia.
SEDA’s Open Day is a pet free event so unfortunately you won’t be able to bring any pet dogs along.
